Get your Chainsaw Certification
This 2-day, Loyalist College course will provide successful participants with a lifetime Non-Loggers Chainsaw Certificate. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) & a working chainsaw will be provided for the training sessions.
Learn:- How to sharpen, inspect, maintain and operate a chainsaw
- How to fall & limb timber under a variety of conditions
- How to recognize, identify, and initiate appropriate action in hazardous situationsALL REQUIRED Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided:- Steel Toe and Shank safety boots
- Chainsaw safety chaps
- Certified hard hat
- Certified ear protection
- Certified safety glasses with side shields
- High-visibility item
- Lightweight leather glovesA working chainsaw will also be provided for the training sessions or bring your own.This course is open to Kijicho Manito Madaouskarini Algonquins only.
